The more than 30 year scam against cholesterol and saturated fat in lean meat, eggs, whole-fat dairy, and more has provided billions of dollars for the drug companies while fueling the epidemic of obesity and type 2 diabetes. this has sickened and actually killed hundreds of thousands of people. Your doctor’s warning to stop eating meat and eggs “because it will cause a heart attack” has become a medical mantra -even though it is 100% false.
the August 11, 2015, online British Medical Journal spells it out. Eating saturated fat is not associated with all-cause mortality (early death), cardiovascular disease, coronary heart disease (CHD), stroke, or diabetes. In fact, studies in Asian countries showed that there were almost 20% less strokes among people who ate the most saturated fat vs. those who ate the least!
Medical “experts” have always maintained that eating meat and dairy led to diabetes. Yet studies showed that eating whole-fat dairy products (none of this industrialized 1%, 2%, fat-free dairy) resulted in less diabetes! And no matter how hard they searched, they could not find a relationship between saturated fat and death. But they did find a strong relationship between industrially produced trans fats and early death.
And where do industrially produced trans fats come from? they are found primarily in carbohydrate foods that the fast and processed food industry makes by the megaton. These are the very foods that have come to be consumed in huge quantities because they are a substitute for the healthy fats that the medical profession has told us to stop eating for 30 years. One more time, real experts could not find, no matter how hard they tried, a relationship between saturated fat consumption and heart disease, cardio vascular disease, stroke, diabetes, or early death -no matter what lies the medical and pharmaceutical professions have been telling you for three decades.
