Coffee or Tea for Breakfast

1 egg yolk

1-2 tbsp butter

1-2 tbsp MCT oil

1 scoop Collagen Peptides Powder, vanilla or plain flavored

Fresh brewed regular coffee, decaf coffee, 1/2 caff coffee, OR Teeccino brewed tea (my favorite in Vanilla Nut)

  1.  Place first three ingredients in a tall coffee mug.
  2. Add 2 tbsp of hot brewed beverage.
  3. Using an AeroLatte hand held mixer or other such electric hand mixer, blend the yolk-butter-coffee mixture until frothy and creamy.
  4. Add collagen powder and 2 tbsp more hot beverage.  Careful not to fill too much or use a short mug or it will spill as you blend it!
  5. Blend.
  6. Fill the mug with the remainder of your coffee.
  7. Top will be foamy, light, airy and delicious! Just like a latte!
  8. Top with cinnamon or cacao powder.
  9. Enjoy and savor immediately. Does not keep well in a thermos or on large quantities. Make 1 serving at a time!
